PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Heating Comments arc limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be detemlined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br /> <br />A Matter of Adoption of Proposed Rate Increase lor Sewer Service Charges. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Robert <br />Rockett, Director of Public Warks, gave an overview of the proposed rate increase <br />and introduced Delmarie Snodgress, Senior Administrative Assistant, who went into <br />greater detail about the proposed rate increase in sewer service charges. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />Heidi Finberg, CEO of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the <br />City Council on behalf of the Industrial Roundtable in support of freezing the <br />industrial user rates. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Dr., addressed the City Council requesting a <br />complete list of the total number of residents served by the San Leandro wastewater <br />system. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, and without opposition, the <br />Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-95, Resolution Amending Title 12, Chapter 5 of the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code Relating to Fees, Charges, and Classification of <br />Users for Sewer Services Provided in Accordance with the Uniform Wastewater <br />Discharge Regulations (provides for adjustments to sewer-service user fees and <br />charges, effective July I, 2002).
