The Council agreed to <br />allow Mayor Young and Councilmember Badger to wtite individual letters. <br /> <br />Mayor Young commented on the "soft opening" of Fire Station 11, stated Fire Station 10 will <br />open next spting and a community event will be held ror the public to visit both fire stations. <br />Mayor Young reported on the NLC conference, stating she shared with the City Manager <br />some creative uses of COBG funds, such as "pocket parks" and special housing needs. <br />Mayor Young asked the Council for pennission to pass on to the Rules Committee a request <br />for consideration f()f a salary increase. <br /> <br />Couneilmember Loeffler gavE:; his final comments as a City Councilmember. Councilmember <br />Loeffler's comments were submitted on the attached notes. Additionally, Coul1cilmember <br />Loemer expressed appreciation to Mrs. Adams, his Govemment teacher, and thanked his <br />father for providing him inspiration. <br /> <br />10.
