PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Christopher Dorn, San Leandro Historical Society, 656 Joaquin Avenue, <br />addressed the City Council regarding the importance of the revitalization of the <br />San Leandro Historical Society. <br /> <br />B. Kathy Banks, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council regarding <br />development taking place at San Leandro Blvd. and Davis Street; how office space <br />could be better utilized in the city; and how the Bayfair Mall should be kept as an <br />enclosed facility. <br /> <br />C. Mike Rawlis, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council regarding repair <br />of sidewalks; parking for BART; suggested a food court near BART; and <br />suggested taxicabs should be made to wait in an area other than the white loading <br />zones. <br /> <br />D. Susan Rinderle, 143 Haas Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />creation of a Rent Review Board and Ordinance. <br /> <br />E. Emilie Pike, 13475 Bancroft Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of <br />the creation of a Rent Review Board and Ordinance. <br /> <br />F. Tom Guarino, addressed the City Council in support of a local purchasing <br />ordinance; invited the Council to the Chamber's State of the City Luncheon <br />scheduled for March 1 st; spoke to the energy crisis and its effect on local business <br />and invited Council to visit a presentation being made to the San Leandro <br />Leadership Class on March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to talk about the energy <br />Issues. <br /> <br />G. Lee Rosenberg, 79 Haas Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />creation of a Rent Review Board and Ordinance. <br />
