When you address the
City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the
order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses
obtained.

A. Matter of City Manager's Proposed Budget, 2001-2002 Fiscal Year (including the
San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, San Leandro Economic Development
Agency, San Leandro Housing Finance Corporation, San Leandro Parking
Authority, and San Leandro Public Financing Authority).
(1051/1485/2807/2395/1963/2735)

This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City
Manager Jermanis gave a short slide presentation and overview of the proposed
budget.

The Hearing was then opened to the public.

Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding
discretionary funds, the County's budget, and that there should be a chart of the
number of employees, benefits and pensions made available to the public.

There being no further comments from the public, and without opposition, the
Public Hearing was closed.

Council discussion ensued regarding the need for information regarding overtime
for employees citywide.
