NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Matter of Property Owner Hearing Regarding Eminent Domain Proceedings for <br />Acquisition of a Portion of the Property Located at 2194 Williams Street, <br />Assessor's Parcel Number 079A-0385-002-02, for Construction of Fire Station <br />No. 10, Property Owner: Build (CA) Qtrs 12-24, (authorizes the City Attorney to <br />petition the court to begin eminent domain proceedings for the acquisition of a <br />portion of the property at 2194 Williams Street for the construction of the new <br />Fire Station No. 10). <br /> <br />Property Owners' Hearing (Only the Property Owners Are Allowed to <br />Speak) <br /> <br />City Manager Jermanis made a brief presentation on the proposed proceedings and <br />noted that the property owner is not present this evening. He urged the City <br />Council to move forward with the acquisition ofthe property. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-72, Resolution of Necessity Determining That the Public <br />Interest and Necessity Require the Acquisition of Certain Land and Directing <br />the Filing of Eminent Domain Proceedings for a Portion of the Property <br />Located at 2194 Williams Street, Assessor's Parcel No. 079A-0385-002-02, <br />Property Owner: Build (CA) Qtr 12-24, for Fire Station No. 10. (1206/2888) <br /> <br />M/S/C Santos and Loeffler. Ayes: 5; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />The City Council recessed from 8:45 p.m. to 8:55 p.m., and Council Member Glaze <br />left the meeting. <br />
