CITY MANAGI!:R'S RI!:PORT AND COMMI!:NTS <br /> <br />Thc City Manager indicated he will work with the City Clerk to ensure that commcnts <br />regarding the "RO" zoning arc adequately rctlected in the October 15,2001 Minutcs. <br /> <br />The City Manager responded he will have the City Engineer look into the pedcstrian <br />crossings on Davis Street and will have the Police Chief investigate the complaints <br />made rcgarding 1952 North Strcct. <br /> <br />The City Manager discusscd bricfly with thc City Council how they would likc to <br />proceed with appointments to the Youth Advisory COl1unission. The City Council <br />indicated they were suppOliive of moving forward with a joint social with student <br />applicants so as to do interviews in a Inore inllwmal setting. <br /> <br />6. Economic Development and Redevelopment Committee Meeting or October <br />23,2001. <br /> <br />City Council discussion included the suggestion of incorporating old studies <br />already conducted while preparing the E. 141h Street Developmcnt Plan. <br /> <br />Recommendations for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Direct staff to proceed with the preparation of an E. 14111 Street Dcvclopment <br />Plan including solicitation of urban planning and design consultants. <br /> <br />b.
