CALL TO ORDER - SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Agency Members Glaze, Loertler, Nardine, Santos; Mayor Young <br />Absent: Agency Member Grant <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person, for a total time period or one <br />hour. When you address the Agency, you should till out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an <br />orlicial record of nanles and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any <br />comments related to Agcnda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />Larry Hood, Hudson Lumber, 400 Hudson Lane, addressed the Agency <br />indicating his displeasure at not having been kept inronned and apprised of <br />negotiations staff had with Mr. Lavery. lie indicated he believes the value of his <br />property will be reduced if the road is removed from the plans. He would rather see <br />the entire package taken back for review by staff and renegotiated to retain the road. <br />He concluded by stating if the City docs approve the proposed amendments, he <br />would like the Agency/City Council to commit to not using eminent domain on the <br />Hudson property in the future. <br /> <br />James Fey, Montenson Development, 720 2nll St., Oakland, addressed the <br />Agency indicating if the road does not stay within the plans, the IJudson property <br />will not be able to develop. If that is the ease, he indicated his cOlnpany would <br />most likely terminate their contract with Hudson Lumber for development of the <br />property. Given that, he added there will be a financial irnpact for Mr. Hood since <br />they have a significant capital investment in the property. <br /> <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Malter of Amendments to the Disposition and Development Agreement <br />Between the Batarse Family Trust, U.T.A. Dated May 7, 19'8,7, Anthony A. <br />Batarse, Jr., Trustee and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro <br />[or the Disposition and Development of a Portion of the Property Located at <br />467 Marina Boulevard (APN #075-0087-003-02), 505 Marina Boulevard (APN <br />#075-0mn-004-04) and 517 Marina Boulevard (APN #075-0087-004-06) and a <br />Portion of the Property at 635 Marina Boulevard (APN #075-0093-007-02), and <br />the Disposition and Development Agreement Between Lavery Calif()l11ia <br />Dealership Properties No. I, LLC and the Redevelopment Agency of the City <br />
