<br />Minutes - San Leandro Redevelopment Agency <br />Special Meeting November 13,2001 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />· The estimated total cost for the Yokota Nursery Development is $10.1 <br />million. The Agency's contribution is now estimated at $1.5 million for <br />dealer assistance and site preparation. These amendments eliminating <br />the road reduce the Agency's estimated participation by $I.R million <br />1rom when the DDAs were approved in October. <br /> <br />Staff clarified with Agency Members that a marker would be placed at the site <br />to designate the former Yokota Nursery. It was also noted that if onc <br />dealership pulls out and a road will be considered again, the issue would COInc <br />back to the Agency for review. <br /> <br />Agency discussion ensued regarding thc cmergcncy access issue and it was <br />notcd that thc plan [or that access would be reviewed during approval of the sitc <br />plan. The City Attorney clarified that although thcre is no legal obligation to do <br />so, negotiations regarding the site plan must bc agreed upon prior to approval of <br />the site plan. It was noted that Mr. I lood would be provided a site plan timcline <br />far his reference, <br /> <br />The Mayor suggested that thc Agency/Council consider some kind of doeumcnt <br />at a future meeting that would indicate the Agcncy/Council would not move <br />forward with eminent domain on the IIudson properly. Agency discussion <br />ensued and the City Attollley indicated that the Agency/Council has alrcady <br />passed a Resolution indicating they would not consider any further eminent <br />domain actions for thc auto mall projcct. <br /> <br />The following actions were taken: <br /> <br />l. Resolution No. 2001-19 A Resolution Of The Redevelopment Agency or <br />The City or San Leandro Amending The Disposition And Development <br />Agreement Between The Batarse Family Trust, U,T.A. Dated May 7, 1987, <br />Anthony A. Batarse, .Jr., Trustee And The Redevelopment Agency Of The <br />City Of San Leandro For The Disposition And Developrnent Of A POl1ion <br />Of The Property Located At 467 Marina Boulevard (APN # 075-00R7-003- <br />(2), 505 Malina Boulevard (APN #075-0087-004-(4) And 517 Marina <br />Boulevard (APN #075-0087-004-06) And A Portion Of The Property At <br />635 Marina Boulevard (APN # 075-0093-007-02). <br />(1485) <br /> <br />M/S/C Badger and Santos.
