Report on Closed Session Actions Taken None. 11. CITY COUNCIL RIWORTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies Mayor Santos reported that he and City Manager Jcmlanis attended the Alameda County Mayor's Con Ccrence. At the meeting, Mayor Santos was appointed as the Mayor's Conference representative to the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACT1A) and the Economic Development Alliance for Business (EDAB). B. Reports on Conferences ami Seminars Councilmemher Gregory thanked City Manager Jermanis for allowing staff to attend, on his hehalf, a joint homeowners association meeting regarding sound walls. Councilmetnber Gregory reported on his attendance at the League of California Cities' Mayors & Council Members Academy in Sacramento on January 10-12,2007, which he described it as a "boot camp" for new Councilmembers. He commented on his tour of the CallEP A building, which utilizes many eco-friendly business practices. Council member Souza thanked the City Manager and staff for arranging for her to attend the LOCC Mayors and Council Members Academy. Councilmember Souza reported that she completed her AB 1234 Ethics training, attended several other useful sessions and had tnany networking opportunities. She commented that during a break in the sessions, she and Couneilmember Gregory visited with Assetnblymember Mary Hayashi. C. Reports on City Council Committees None.
