<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-014 <br /> <br />(3015) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />SAN LEANDRO MARINA BOAT LAUNCHING FACILITY, PROJECT NO. 150-38-246, <br />AS COMPLETE AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of the anticipated redevelopment of the former "Boatworks" site at <br /> <br />the Marina, it is necessary to relocate the boat launch ramp and the proposed new ramp will be <br /> <br />located on Mulford Point Drive, adjacent to the Marina office near Mulford Point. When the <br /> <br />new boat launch ramp is completed and operational, the existing launch ramp will be closed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the California Department of Boating and Waterways (DBW) awarded a <br /> <br />grant to the City for design, permitting, and construction of a new boat launch ramp and <br /> <br />associated boating facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council awarded the design, document preparation, and permitting <br /> <br />services at Concept Marine Associates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent was published on October 23,2006, with a thirty-day <br /> <br />period for public review and comment concluding on November 22, 2006. No comments were <br /> <br />received during this period. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the office of the Engineering and Transportation Department of the City of <br /> <br />San Leandro is located at 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, and said Department is <br /> <br />the custodian of the documents or other materials forming the basis for this determination. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro adopts the attached <br /> <br />Negative Declaration and finds and resolves as follows: <br />
