<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-027 <br /> <br />(3087) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MCGUIRE AND HESTER FOR <br />DOOLITTLE DRIVE ENTRYWAY IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 2, PROJECT NO. 230-43-155 <br /> <br />Recitals <br /> <br />The City of San Leandro did, on February 6,2007, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2006-134 of the <br />Council of said City adopted on December 18, 2006, which resolution is hereby expressly <br />referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under <br />said resolution. <br /> <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: McGuire and Hester, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Grant and passed and adopted this 5th day of March 2007, <br />by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />(0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />(0) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
