<br />Agency's member. Each member and alternate shall hold office from the first meeting of <br />the Commission after his appointment by the Agency which he represents until his <br />successor is selected. Each member and alternate shall serve at the pleasure of the <br />4 Agency which he represents and may be removed at any time, with or without cause, in <br />5 the sole discretion of the Agency's governing body. <br />6 Each member and alternate must be a member of the governing body of the <br />7 Agency which he represents. No member or alternate shall bea member of more than <br />one Agency. <br />.9 Each Agency shall be empowered to vote through its designated member or <br />10 alternate. <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />2 <br />3 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Commission members shall receive compensation in an amount established by <br />the Commission, but not to exceed the maximum amount permitted by law for each day <br />of attendance at a meeting of the Commission or for each day's service rendered as a <br />Commissioner by request of the Commission, not exceeding a total of four days in any <br />calendar month, together with any expenses incident thereto. <br />16 <br />(c) Principal Office <br />17 <br />The principal office of the Authority shall be located within the boundaries of the <br />18 <br />Authority and shall be established by the Commission. The Commission is hereby <br />19 <br />granted full power and authority to change said principal office from one location to <br />20 <br />another, provided at least fifteen day's notice is given to each Agency, the Regional <br />21 <br />22 Water Quality Control Board and to such agencies or offices as required by law. <br />23 (d) Officers <br />24 The Authority shall have five officers: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Manager, <br />25 Treasurer, and Controller. The members of the Commission shall select from the <br />26 Commission a Chairman and Vice~Chairman who shall hold office for a period of one <br />27 year, commencing July 1 of each and every Fiscal Year; provided, however, the first <br />28 Chairman and Vice-Chairman appointed shall hold office from the date of appointment <br />29 to the following June 30; provided further, that in the event that an Agency removes <br />30 from the Commission a member serving as an officer, the Commission shall appoint a <br />31 member of the Commission to fill that vacant office for the remainder of that Fiscal Year. <br />32 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />-9- <br />
