On August 4, 2004, approximately 70 people attended a BBQ and community meeting at <br />BMS <br />. On September 1, 2004, approximately 40 people attended the Recreation and Parks <br />Commission public meeting <br />. On September 8, 2004, approximately 15 people attended the City CouncillSLUSD School <br />Board Liaison Committee public meeting <br />. On September 14, 2004, approximately 85.people attended the SLUSD community meeting <br />. On September 21, 2004, approximately 40 people attended the Estudillo Homeowner's <br />Association meeting <br />. On October 14, 2004, approximately 6 people attended the City CouncillSLUSD School <br />Board Liaison Committee meeting <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br /> <br />. The total proj ect grant cost including design, construction, and management is estimated at <br />$3,260,000 <br />. Per the MOU, the City will provide funds in the amount of $311,000 for in-kind services, <br />including project management and inspection <br />. Per the MOU, additional construction costs needed beyond those provided by the grant will <br />be separately funded by the SLUSD <br />. The cost of Harris Design's consultant contract ($124,305) will be reimbursed through the <br />grant <br />. Maintenance costs are the responsibility of the SLUSD <br /> <br />Budeet Authoritv <br /> <br />. $1,000,000 was appropriated in Account No. 210-38-257 from the City's Grant Fund (these <br />funds will be reimbursed by the SLUSD as a condition of the MOU) and $311,000 was <br />appropriated into Account No. 122-38.257 from the Park Development Fund by Resolution <br />No. 2006-069 on June 19,2006 <br />
