SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Christine Lim Superintendent ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE 14735 Juniper Street San Leandro, CA. 94579 (510) 895-4199 REVISED AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS AT BANCROFT MIDDLE SCHOOL THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 21st day of March, 2007 by and between CIIT OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal corporation of the State of California, herein called "City," and the SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, a public school district of the State of California, herein called "District" (collectively, the "Parties") WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, on November 1, 2004, the Parties entered into an agreement to make improvements to the sports fields at Bancroft Middle School (the "Project") and submitted a grant application to State of California Department of Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer and Recreation Development (the "Department") Grant Program; and WHEREAS the Department awarded the District with a Youth Soccer and Recreation Development Grant (the "Grant") in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000); and WHEREAS, the City has agreed to provide up to Three Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars ($311,OOO) of in-kind staff time to provide project management and inspection services in support of the improvements to be made to the sports fields at the Site; and WHEREAS, the City and District acknowledge that each desires to work jointly with the other to develop projects that provide a benefit to the City, the District, and the community at large, and working jointly includes sharing resources and responsibilities prudently and efficiently. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and conditions hereinafter set forth, the Parties hereby agree as follows:
