<br />may want to hold a public meeting to update residents on the construction schedule for the <br />project. <br /> <br />Committee Recommendation <br /> <br />The City Engineering Department will prepare a notice to residents on San Jose Street <br />advising them of the construction schedule, including hours of work by the contractor. <br /> <br />5. Discussion Regarding Burrell Field <br /> <br />The San Leandro Unified School District and the City of San Leandro discussed looking at <br />different options for Burrell Field, including, but not limited to, renovation and <br />modernization. <br /> <br />Committee Recommendation <br /> <br />The Superintendent and City Manager will develop options for the renovation or relocation <br />of Burrell Field for consideration by the School Liaison Committee. <br /> <br />6. Discussion Regarding Joint City CounciVSchool Board Meeting <br /> <br />The City and the District will try to schedule a joint meeting in June. <br /> <br />7. Discussion Regarding Future Committee Dates and Times <br /> <br />Board Vice President Cassidy suggested that due to the number of topics that are being <br />discussed by the School Liaison Committee at this time, the committee should meet on a <br />monthly basis as a means of improving communication between the City and District. The <br />members of the Committee concurred with this recommendation. The next meeting of the <br />Committee will be April 19 at City Hall. <br /> <br />8. Public Comments <br /> <br />Morgan Mack-Rose expressed thanks that the City and the District have agreed to meet <br />monthly. <br /> <br />9. Committee Member Comments <br /> <br />Board Vice President Cassidy commented that he felt the discussion at this meeting was <br />very productive and set the stage for improved communications between the City and <br />District. The other members of the School Liaison Committee concurred. <br /> <br />10. Adjourn <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 p.m. <br /> <br />3 <br />
