<br />. Contain unobstructed egress to safe, open space at ground level. If the dwelling unit <br />is on the second story or above, with access directly from or through a common <br />corridor, the common corridor must have at least two means of egress. <br /> <br />. For a person who is mobility impaired, be free of any barriers that would preclude <br />reasonable ingress, egress, or use of the dwelling by such person. <br /> <br />Eligible Displaced Household (Eligible Occupant). An eligible displaced <br />household is any occupant who <br /> <br />. legally occupied a room as a weekly tenant at the Islander Motel Lodge on May 23, <br />2005; and <br />. who was provided with and signed a General Information Notice in May of 2005 <br />. who have not voluntarily vacated the property prior to the Agency's date of <br />possession. <br /> <br />Eligible Displaced Households are entitled to receive: <br /> <br />. Relocation Advisory Assistance to help secure replacement housing <br />. Moving Assistance to move from the Islander Motel Lodge <br />. Rental Assistance Payments to help pay for the cost of increased rent at a <br />comparable replacement dwelling for a period not to exceed 42 months. This <br />assistance can be converted into Down Payment Assistance. <br /> <br />Daily Occupant. The Islander Motel Lodge is a motel that is aVc3i1able for daily rental <br />to the general public. By request of the motel owner, the motel may rent a maximum of 33 rooms <br />on a weekly basis. There are 34 rooms remaining at the motel that are available to rent to <br />persons on a daily basis. These persons are not eligible to receive Relocation Assistance. The <br />Agency has not and will not offer rooms for rent on a daily basis once it takes possession of the <br />property. <br /> <br />Post-Offer, Fully Informed Occupants. Persons who rented rooms on a weekly <br />basis at the motel after May 23, 2005 who received a Notice to Prospective Tenants. These <br />persons were fully informed of the proposed project prior to occupancy and are not eligible to <br />receive full Relocation Assistance. However, the Agency may choose to provide Relocation <br />Advisory Assistance to help secure replacement housing. <br /> <br />Over Income Household.
