AI Rosenga, 534 Parrott Street, addressed the City Council regarding the
proposed privatization of the garbage service and asked how many employees will
be displaced and questioned if we can actually reduce overhead costs. He also questioned what happens to those residents who
only have 20-gallon containers and have benefited from the reduced costs. He
stated that one container may not be enough for consumers. He concluded by
stressing the need for an educational program for citizens.

B. Justin Agrella, 1231 - 148th Avenue, addressed the City Council and stated he
would like to have seen the refuse contract be a year-to-year contract. He also
commented that the Real Estate Property Transfer Tax is not split between the
buyer and seller as was insinuated earlier.
