Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />A Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro <br />Approving Owner Participation Agreement with Costco Wholesale Corporation to <br />construct an Addition to the Costco Warehouse, Located at 1900 Davis Street, <br />Acquisition and Use of the, Property Located at 993 Beecher Street for a Self- <br />Service Gas Station, and Reimburse the Agency $154,000 for the Purchase of the <br />Access Parcel (allows for Costco expansion and construction of a self-service gas <br />station). <br /> <br />Joann Oliver made a staff report on the project and the Owner Participation <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Kathy Nishihara and Brian Bonar, Architects, made a report about the project <br />regarding enhancements to be made at the site, including improvements to <br />minimize impacts to the adjacent residential neighborhood. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued regarding the history of problems with trucking at the <br />site where the gas station will be located, concerns regarding the airport impacts <br />relating to a "safety zone," and comments regarding landscaping of the project. <br />
