Matter of Appeal bv Ouentin Dammer. Applicant. of the Plannine: <br />Commission's Denial of A-99-1 and PD-99-7; Planned Development and Zoning <br />Code Amendment; to Re-Zone a Property from Residential, Single-Family (RS) to <br />Commercial Service with a Planned Development Overlay CS (PD) or to Another <br />Commercial District Such as Community Commercial (CC). This would allow the <br />development of a limited, vehicle-maintenance business, which may include open <br />vehicle storage at the rear of the site to accommodate a maximum of five vehicles <br />waiting for repair. The site would also be used for storage for up to 20 RV's <br />and/or boats. A site for a possible telecommunications tower is also proposed. <br />The existing dwelling unit at the front of the site will be retained and a frame shop <br />for pulling vehicle frames will be added. Some frame work will occasionally be <br />performed outside the frame shop; 14969 Washington Avenue; Assessor's Parcel <br />Numbers 77B-l120-5 and 77B-l120-1-1; Q. Bammer, Applicant and Property <br />Owner; RS Residential, Single-Family. <br /> <br />Letter Requesting a Sixty (60)-Day Extension for the Appeal Public Hearing, <br />Received from Steven M. Bernard, Attorney for Applicant, Quentin Bammer. <br />The Public Hearing Will De Rescheduled to May 1, 2000. <br /> <br />Letter of Appeal Received from Steven M. Bernard, Attorney for Applicant, <br />Quentin Bammer, Appealing the Planning Commission's Denial of PD-99-7 <br />and A-99-1, dated January 19, 2000. <br /> <br />Council Member Glaze inquired whether the property is currently in non- <br />conformance with the City's regulations. It was noted the property is currently in <br />non-conformance, and enforcement will be based on the outcome of the <br />entitlement process. <br /> <br />The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2000-15, Matter of Appeal bv Ouentin Dammer. <br />Applicant. of the Plannine: Commission's Denial of A-99-1 and PD-99-7. <br />(1099/1009) <br /> <br />The City Council continued the matter of the Appeal by Quentin <br />Dammer, Applicant, of the Planning Commission's Denial of A-99-1 and <br />PD-99-7 to the May 1, 2000, City Council Meeting, and directed the City <br />Manager to send a letter to the Appellant, indicating no more <br />improvements shall be done on the site until the Appeal is settled. <br /> <br />M/S/C Glaze and Nardine.
