PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Lou Filipovicb, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />cost of gasoline. He noted the City does control business licenses and that perhaps <br />the City could set rules regarding the cost of products. He suggested gasoline <br />dealers be required to post price changes regularly to assist consumers in making <br />their decision as to where to buy gas. <br /> <br />2. PRESENTA nONS <br /> <br />A. Presentation of the Northern California Chapter of the International Personnel <br />Management Association's "Agency Award for Excellence for Innovation in <br />Human Resources," Received by Steve Harman, Director of Human Resources. <br /> <br />Steve Harman, Human Resources Director received the Award. <br /> <br />The Mayor commended Mr. Harman for his six years of service to the City and <br />noted he has accepted a position with the City of Vallejo and will be leaving the <br />City soon. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Galvan echoed the Mayor's comments by commending Steve for his <br />service to the City of San Leandro. <br /> <br />B. Presentation of the "Telly Award" for "Achievement in an Outstanding <br />Documentary," Featuring the San Leandro Landslide. <br /> <br />Dianne Wagoner of TCI presented the Award to the Mayor and City Council as <br />co-producers of the film. <br />
