CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: Council Member Nardine <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />A. Presentation of Two Awards from the California Park and Recreation Society, <br />District III (CPRS) in Recognition of the Landscape Section of the Public Works <br />Services Department, in the Categories of: Park Operations and Maintenance, in <br />the Sub-Category of Sports Field, with a submission on the San Leandro Ball Park; <br />and Agency Showcase, in the Sub-Category of Special Program Brochure. <br /> <br />Bob Rockett introduced Mark Rodrigues, who explained the Awards in greater <br />detail. He then introduced Rick Olivero, Bob Sanchez, and George Singh, who <br />are employees of the Public Works Services Department responsible for the care <br />and maintenance of the San Leandro Ball Park and various other parks. <br /> <br />B. Resolution of Commendation Recognizing the Contributions of Jeff McGallian, <br />Board of Zoning Adjustments, District 6. <br /> <br />JeffMcGallian was present to accept the Commendation. <br /> <br />C. Proclamation Designating May 3,2000, as Arbor Day in San Leandro to Celebrate <br />the City's Tree Planting Activities in 2000, with a Tree-Planting Ceremony at <br />Marina Park. <br /> <br />Dan Nagle accepted the Proclamation. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should rdl out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br /> <br />None <br />
