Matter of Discussion Regarding Individual Council Members' "Measured Business Lines" for Fax Machines Being Converted to "Residential Lines" and Approving a Flat, Monthly Residential Rate, Reimbursement of Actual Costs Estimated to Be $15.00 Per Month. Discussion ensued regarding reimbursement of actual fax machine costs, estimated to be $15.00 per month, for individual Council Members to convert their fax machines from "Measured Business Lines" to "Residential Lines." The $15.00 expense is to be added to their monthly allowable expenses. The following Motion was then introduced: Minute Order No. 2000-23. Matter of Internet E-Mail Providers and Fax Machine Telephone Line Service for City Council Members. Approving Reimbursement of a Flat Monthly Rate, Estimated to Be $40.00. (1156) The City Council approved a flat, monthly allowance of 540.00 for each City Council Member's monthly allowable expense to cover the costs of E-Mail providers and Fax machine telephone line services. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS A Mayor Young encouraged Council Members to move forward with appointments that need to be made within their Districts on the various Boards and Commissions. B. Council Member Loeftler asked for information and/or a report on attendance by General Plan Advisory Committee Members of their regular meetings. Council Member Loeftler also requested that information on overtime costs be a part of the budget document, with full disclosure by department.
