PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A Aaron Priven, 174 - 41d Street, #304, Oakland, Representing the Sierra Oub, <br />addressed the City Council in support of the Measure "B" Plan. <br /> <br />B. Julie Cuellas, 251 West Broadmoor Boulevard, Representing Best Manor <br />Homeowners' Association, Inc., and Farrelly Pond Neighborhood <br />Association, addressed the City Council with concerns regarding the sound wall <br />with relation to the proposed Cherrywood Project. She submitted a copy of a <br />Petition opposing the building of the wall. <br /> <br />C. Tim Dineen, 236 W. Broadmoor Boulevard, addressed the City Council in <br />opposition to the sound wall in the Cherrywood Project development. He <br />suggested a dense tree planting instead. <br /> <br />D. Charlie Fetcher, 2951 Derby #332, Berkeley, representing the United Seniors of <br />Oakland and Alameda County, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Measure "B" Plan. <br /> <br />E. Bob Berger, President of the Bancroft Area Neighborhood Association, addressed <br />the City Council in support of the Owner Participation Agreement for EDEN <br />Housing on the Redevelopment Agenda this evening. <br /> <br />F. Tom Dlugosh, San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the City <br />Council offering the Chamber's conditional support of "Measure "B" pending <br />promises offered by Alameda County Transit to create improved and expanded <br />services via a "Transit Development Plan" for our area. He indicated his particular <br />concern for San Leandro's east-west corridors for industrial businesses and other <br />employment centers west of 880, including school sites. <br /> <br />G. Dana Johnson, 343 Farrelly, addressed the City Council with concerns <br />regarding the Cherrywood Project and the sound wall proposed. He stated he <br />feels there were no considerations made for sound from additional traffic that will <br />be generated. <br /> <br />H. Joyce Starosciak, 15208 Ranger Rd., addressed the City Council requesting <br />funding for new playground equipment at Stenzel Park in the 2000-2001 Fiscal <br />Year Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br />I. Massimo Spadazzi, 15109 Shining Star Lane, addressed the City Council in <br />support of funding for playground equipment at Stenzel Park. <br />
