CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS

The City Manager addressed the concerns expressed regarding the sound wall at the
Cherrywood Project. He indicated there was no intention to disadvantage one
segment of the community over the other by the proposed sound wall. He stated that
staff will be meeting with Citation Homes to address the concerns that have been
expressed. He suggested perhaps a meeting with the Best Manor and Farrelly Pond
neighborhoods - with the goal of mitigation of the concerns - would be appropriate.
He noted the sound wall is not fully designed and has not been built yet, so there is an
opportunity to investigate alternatives that are acceptable to all involved.

In response to comments regarding Stenzel Park playground equipment, he noted that
monies are included in the CIP and the City Council will considering that issue in June.
That issue will also be discussed at the Facilities Committee level before it comes back
to the full Council for action.

In response to Mr. Perez's concerns the City Manager indicated he will have the
Police Chief review the situation.
