Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Council Members Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, Nardine; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: Council Member Galvan <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Tim Dineen, 236 W. Broadmoor Boulevard, addressed the City Council in <br />support of a proposed tax measure in the City to support the purchase of park <br />space. He also commented that he noticed the City Council Members' salaries <br />were posted in the newspaper recently, which he was surprised to see. He <br />concluded by expressing concerns with traffic and the striping on East 14th Street. <br /> <br />B. George Silva, 13855 Tahiti Road, addressed the City Council in support of <br />continued funding for the Municipal Band, which was cut from this year's <br />proposed budget. He encouraged the City Council to place funding back in the <br />budget for them. <br />
