PRESENTATIONSntECOGNTIaONS <br /> <br />Although they were not in attendance, the Mayor acknowledged and recognized the <br />following retiring Police Officers for their years of valuable service to the City of San <br />Leandro : <br /> <br />Officer Paul Line after 31 years, Officer Eugene Cerelli after 25 years of service, <br />and Officer Lydel Walters after 28 years of service. <br /> <br />The Mayor noted on June 30th at the Veterans Memorial Hall an organization of our <br />community's Veterans will present the French Legion of Honor Award to WWI <br />Veteran, William Dietz, who is 101 years old and the only surviving WWI Veteran in <br />our community. <br /> <br />The Mayor also noted the order of the Agenda will be changed this evening to take <br />all of the Public Hearings early in the evening. The City Council will begin with <br />Public Comments in order to give the public a chance to comment on any items of <br />interest prior to proceeding with the Public Hearings. <br />
