CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />A. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, <br />Nardine; Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />Refer to the Joint City Council/San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Public Hearing, <br />found in the City Council Meeting Minutes of June 19,2000. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, you should fill out <br />a speaker card and submit it to the Agency Secretary/City Clerk so the order of <br />speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. <br />The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items of <br />public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. John Faria, addressed the Redevelopment Agency regarding the eminent domain <br />proceedings for Marina Boulevard and indicated it is exactly what Redevelopment <br />is all about. He indicated his support for the proposed actions. <br /> <br />B. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Redevelopment Agency, <br />asking how many other people have been involved in this project (referring to the <br />eminent domain proceedings) and asked how many people have tried to purchase <br />these properties. He also questioned why the Redevelopment Agency cannot <br />allow any persons other than the affected property owners to speak to this issue. <br />
