Matter of Property Owner's Hearing Regarding Eminent Domain Proceedings for <br />the Realignment of Grand Avenue at the Joaquin Avenue Intersection; Property <br />Owner: ESC Partners, Ltd., 1305-1395 MacArthur Boulevard, Assessor's Parcel <br />Number 077-0501-001-02 (authorizes the City Attorney to petition the court to <br />begin eminent domain proceedings for the acquisition of a temporary construction <br />easement and landscaping easement for City of San Leandro purposes). Matters Regarding the November 7,2000, Election. <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2000-38, Matter of Accepting Certification of the City <br />Clerk as to Sufficiency of Signatures on the Petition Entitled, "Repeal of the <br />Real Property Transfer Tax" (accepts Certification of the City Clerk as to <br />sufficiency of signatures, as required by the State Election Code, and directs <br />the City Clerk to put the Measure on the Ballot for the November 7,2000, San <br />Leandro Municipal Election, and to order a Fiscal Analysis of the Measure). <br />(1055/1170) <br /> <br />The City Council accepted the Certification of the City Clerk as to the <br />Sufficiency of Signatures on the Petition entitled, "Repeal of the Real <br />Property Transfer Tax," directed the City Clerk to put the Measure on <br />the Ballot for the November 7, 2000, San Leandro Municipal Election, <br />and ordered a Fiscal Analysis of the Measure. <br /> <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Galvan. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2000-125, Resolution Calling a Special Municipal Election for <br />Submission of a Question to the Qualified Voters Relating to the Repeal of San <br />Leandro's Real Property Transfer Tax; Consolidating the Special Municipal <br />Election with the General Municipal Election to Be Held Tuesday, November <br />7, 2000; Approving the Form of the Ballot Question; Setting Forth Procedures <br />for Ballot Arguments and Rebuttals; and Directing the City Clerk to Submit <br />the Measure to the City Attorney for Impartial Analysis.
