An Ordinance Deleting and Designating Streets to the Truck Route Map (deletes <br />Williams Street between I-880 and Alvarado Street from the Truck Route Map <br />and adds Aladdin Avenue between I-880 and Alvarado Street, Alvarado Street <br />between Davis Street and Williams Street, and Teagarden Street between Marina <br />Boulevard and Alvarado Street to the Truck Route Map). <br /> <br />The Mayor confirmed that there will be adequate notification and signage of the <br />new routes. <br /> <br />The following Ordinance was then introduced: <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2000-018, An Ordinance Deleting and Designating Streets to <br />the Truck Route Map (deletes Williams Street between I-880 and Alvarado <br />Street from the Truck Route Map and adds Aladdin Avenue between I-880 <br />and Alvarado Street, Alvarado Street between Davis Street and Williams <br />Street, and Teagarden Street between Marina Boulevard and Alvarado Street <br />to the Truck Route Map). CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />A. The Mayor thanked the City Council for their approval and consent of the Spare <br />the Air Campaign. She further stated that, because of a personal matter, she will <br />not be available for the Work Session meeting of the City Council on September <br />25,2000. <br /> <br />B. Council Member Lothrop commented on her attendance at a Committee Meeting <br />of the Library-Historical Commission regarding the upcoming Library Gala. She <br />indicated for those individuals who are still interested in contributing, there is still <br />time to do so. <br /> <br />C. Council Member Loeffler commented on the need to move ahead on the evaluation <br />process of the City Manager. He stated there is a need to bring the goals to a <br />closure with a facilitator. He would like this issue sent to the City Council Rules <br />and Communications Committee to get a facilitator and a timeline in place. <br />
