Council Member Galvan extended his congratulations to Larry Allphin and Carol Libbrecht, as well as the Downtown Association, for a successful Sausage and Suds Festival this last Saturday. B. Council Member Loeffler also congratulated those responsible for a successful Sausage and Suds Festival. He also requested that the City Council consider taking a position on Proposition 37 at the next City Council regular meeting. He asked that since this proposition affects fees, he would like a report on what the impacts to our City might be. C. The Mayor indicated that she had a full analysis of the measure that she could provide to the City Council. After a brief discussion, it was suggested that the City Council place something on the next regular meeting agenda so that they could take a position on Measure "G." The Mayor commented on the letter received from Johan Klehs asking that the Council recognize Val Gil. She asked that this request be forwarded to the Rules and Communications Committee for review. This issue will be placed on the next City Council agenda for adding to the Rules and Communications Committee work plan. 10. CONTINUED PUBLIC COMMENTS Continued Public Comments is limited to the balance of speaker cards that have been submitted to the City Clerk and any new speakers who have not been heard. Comments will be limited to 5 minutes per speaker. There were none. 11. ADJOURN The City Council adjourned its meeting at 10:20 p.m. to Monday, October 9, 2000, for a Work Session, at 7:00 p.m., in the South Offices Conference Room.
