Matter of A-00-5; Rezone from CC Community Commercial District to CC (PD) <br />Community Commercial Planned Development Overlay District; and PD-OO-4; <br />Planned Development, to Convert an Existing Office Building into a Church, <br />Including Sanctuary, Classrooms, and Office Space; 897 MacArthur Boulevard, <br />West Side of MacArthur Boulevard, Northerly of Fortuna Avenue; Assessor's <br />Parcel Number 76-333-4-1; 1. Bell, KBC Family Life Ministries, Owner and <br />Applicant; CC Community Commercial District. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Hansom <br />Horn, Interim Planning Director, gave a brief overview of the proposed rezoning <br />and Norm Weisbrod, Associate City Planner, went over the proposed rezoning in <br />greater detail. <br /> <br />The applicant, Janice Bell, addressed the City Council and stating that they would <br />like to keep the existing sign. She indicated that they would make the existing sign <br />look more presentable. <br /> <br />Mayor Young opened the public hearing.
