<br />, . <br /> <br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting <br />November 6,2000 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Council Member Loeffler commented on the reconstruction of Huff Avenue and <br />asked that the City Manager address the residents' "point of challenge" access to <br />their driveways. <br /> <br />The City Manager indicated he has forwarded the information from the residents to <br />the Engineering and Transportation Department, and he will be sharing the report <br />received from the City Engineer at the next City Council Meeting where the issue <br />may be discussed. <br /> <br />Council Member Loeffler also questioned the ability of downloading City Council <br />Agendas from the City's Webpage on the Internet. <br /> <br />Staff responded that they do not have the technical response available tonight, but <br />the issue will be addressed and information given to the City Council. <br /> <br />C. Mayor Young suggested the City Council consider approving an Ad Hoc <br />Committee to review the Waste Water Treatment Plant proposals received. <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2000-60, City Council Consensus. <br /> <br />(1156) <br /> <br />City Council consensus was reached and the City Council approved the <br />appointment of Mayor Young, Council Member Galvan and Vice Mayor <br />Glaze to a City Council Ad Hoc Committee to Review the Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant Proposals. <br /> <br />No Vote <br /> <br />The Mayor reported that the Rent Issues Ad Hoc Committee continues to meet <br />and suggested that requests for information regarding rent control and/or rising <br />rents be referred to Neusa Pollard via the Mayor's Office. <br /> <br />Mayor Young reminded the City Council of the upcoming Holiday Party in which <br />Board and Commission members are recognized for their service. Noting that she <br />had sent the City Council a memo regarding a potential method of recognizing <br />citizens within their District, she asked that City Council Members submit any <br />names of citizens they would like to recognize from their respective districts to her <br />by the third week in November. <br /> <br />In conclusion, the Mayor reported that Saturday is Veteran's Day and there will be <br />an event at City Hall at 8:00 a.m. She added there would also be a parade in the <br />City of Fremont, as well. <br />
