City of San Leandro Grant Agreement No. 05-012, Amendment No.1 Page 2 SCOPE OF AGREEMENT In the first paragraph of this section, second sentence, line 5, change "(up to $48,996)" to "(up to $148,996)". Add a new paragraph immediately before the last paragraph of this section, to read as follows: The additional funding of $1 00,000 provided by Amendment 1 to this agreement, along with additional funds or in-kind services as may be provided by the grantee, shall be used by the grantee to plan, prepare for, undertake and complete 2007 treatment activities for the eradication and control of invasive Spartina in the areas identified above (or in some portion of those areas), subject to and as specified in a current, approved site-specific plan and work program for the project. The funds may also be used for activities associated with such treatment work, including: (a) the purchase of herbicide, surfactant and other supplies reasonably needed to complete the treatment activities; (b) restoration work required as a mitigation measure; or (c) subsequent mapping and monitoring to determine the effectiveness of the treatment activities.. TERM OF AGREEMENT In paragraph 2, the "termination date" is changed to October 31, 2012. In paragraph 2, the "completion date" is changed to October 31, 2007. In paragraph 2, the "final invoice date" is changed to December 31, 2007. AUTHbRIZATION I I Replace the first sentence ofthe first paragraph of this section with a sentence to read as follows: "The signature of the Executive Officer of the Conservancy on this agreement and on subsequent amendments certifies that at its June 16,2005, April 27, 2006, and March 8, 2007, meetings the Conservancy adopted the resolutions included in the staff recommendations attached as Exhibits 2, 3, and 4." EXHIBIT 4 Exhibit 4, attached to this amendment, is incorporated into the agreement. All other terms and conditions ofthe existing agreement shall remain in effect.
