The 2006-07 approved City contract amount is <br />$15,372,488. Second Quarter expenditures were at 24.1% of the contract amount <br />or $3,711,156. <br /> <br />Second Quarter Expenditures: <br /> <br />$3,711,156.00 <br /> <br />The level of spending during this Second Quarter was consistent with initial <br />contract projections with two exceptions. There were total savings to the City of <br />$17,972 in the 1 st and 2nd Quarters as a result of the Emergency Preparedness and <br />Community Outreach position not receiving final Board of Supervisor <br />authorization until the end of September 2006 and remaining unfilled as of the end <br />of the 2nd Quarter. In addition there were cumulative 1 s( and 2nd Quarter savings of <br />$66,864 as a result of the Deputy Fire Marshal position being vacant.
