The methodology and assumptions to be used in developing <br />the FY 2007-08 budget were reviewed and agreed upon. The budget is still in development. <br /> <br />Overall, AICo Fire projects a 3.6% increase, approximately $550,000, for the City of San <br />Leandro over the FY 2006-07 budget, excluding capital equipment replacement and the purchase <br />of defibrillators for City facilities. <br /> <br />Assumptions for AICo Fire (San Leandro, Dublin, Lawrence Berkeley Labs and Unincorporated <br />Alameda County) include: <br /> <br />. COLA adjustment effective January 2008 (4% Safety; 2.5% non-safety) <br />. County Works Comp decrease of$778k <br />. Health premium increase of 10.7% effective January 2008 <br />. PERS employer percentage decreases of .061 % as of July 2007 <br />· Dental premium maintained at FY 2006-07 levels <br />. Overtime increase of $314k, mainly for Unincorporated Alameda County operations <br />. Clothing allowance increase of$18,925 <br />. Fuel increase of $20,000 (9%) <br />. Dispatch cost increase of $68,243 <br />. New AmeriCorps project grant with local matching funds of $81,000 (pending grant <br />approval) <br />. Communications program increases of $26,700 to .replace radios <br />. Computer program increases of $55,404 for wireless router project <br />. County overhead charges increase of $22,787 <br />.
