What needs or priorities will still not be met even after implementing proposed service
changes?
. How many potential riders do you estimate will use this service this coming fiscal year?

Response:

In order to plan for next year, staff gathered public input through paratransit focus group
meetings, surveys, work sessions with the Senior Commission and trip/rider pattern analysis.
Following is a summary of the key results and how the issues are addressed in the FY 2007-
08 Paratransit Plan:

1. Riders rated the service high in most service areas including: courtesy of dispatch and
drivers, on-time performance and safety.

2. Riders rated the service fair in the following areas: ease of making reservation,
cleanliness of vehicle and comfort of ride.
Action:
Ease of making reservation (rider cannot get requested ride time) -
. Last year, we received complaints that riders could not get through on the telephones
when trying to make a reservation.
