Ronco, Dan Walters The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. 1. Overview of Marina Harbor Operations and Capital Requirements 2. Presentation on Privatization of the San Leandro Marina Harbor Assistant City Manager Hollister reported that items one and two on the agenda will be handled in one presentation. He then introduced Public Works Director Bakaldin who presented information on initial harbor construction, berth and vacancy data, siltation in the channel and harbor, improvements needed, and a breakdown of revenue and expenditures from harbor operations. Additionally, he reviewed past proposals for privatization as well as recent improvements in the Shoreline Recreation Area. A copy of the powerpoint presentation is attached. The Committee requested a list of money owed to the General Fund by division - Golf Course, Harbor Operations, Shoreline. The Committee discussed the status ofFEMA reimbursements for 2006 storm damage. A discussion ensued regarding nomenclature used for the harbor vs. the Shoreline Recreation Area, along with the possibility of changing the committee name back to the Shoreline Committee.
