<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br />Section 1: The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
<br />
<br />Section 2. Sections 2-600, 2-608, 2-626, 2-634, 2-636, 2-638, 2-640, 2-642, 2-644, 2-646,
<br />2-674, 2-676, 2-678, 2-680, 2-682, 2-684, 2-686, 2-688, 2-690, 2-694, 2-696, 2-698, 4-1702, 4-
<br />1704, 5-2502, and 5-2506, and 5-2512 are amended as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
<br />incorporated hereing, with changes shown with items to be deleted as stricken and items to be
<br />added in bold italics.
<br />
<br />Section 3. Effective Date and Publication.
<br />
<br />This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title thereof shall
<br />be published once prior to adoption. The City Clerk is directed to post a complete copy thereof
<br />on the City Council Chamber bulletin board for five (5) days prior to adoption.
<br />
<br />Section 4. Severability.
<br />
<br />If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of the
<br />ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or ineffective by any court of
<br />competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the
<br />remaining portions of this Ordinance or any part hereof. The City Council hereby declares that it
<br />would have passed each section of the Ordinance irrespective of the fact that one or more of them
<br />would be declared unconstitutional or invalid. To this end, the provisions of the Ordinance are
<br />declared to be severable.
