current status, project management responsibilities, dollar value of the development, <br />financing sources, extent of public/private partnerships or agreements and the amount and <br />type of environmental remediation. Experience with California cities in particular should <br />be noted. Projects should either be complete or underway to the point that they can be <br />viewed and independently evaluated. Please limit your description of experience to your <br />most recent 3-4 projects that are most relevant to this development. <br />State the reasons for the firm's interest in development of San Leandro's Shoreline Area. <br />E. References. Provide complete contact information for at least five clients or partners <br />(public sector preferred) with whom the firm has successfully completed similar projects <br />within the past ten years. <br />F. Financial Qualifications. Provide clear evidence of fnlancial resources to develop the <br />property, as indicated by a description of the company's relationships,, with investors and <br />lending institutions and past project performance for 2-3 projects of comparable size and <br />complexity. Specific information on typical sources of construction firia~~~cing,'long term <br />financing, and other working capital are desired. <br />Prior to entering into any agreement, the City willrequii-e a comprehensive review of the <br />development team's financial statements. <br />G. Items Not to be Included in Submittal The RFQ is intended,_to identify a developer who <br />is able to work with the community -and City to develop, a plan for the Shoreline Area. <br />Development ideas and conceptual designs are not requested at this time and should not <br />be submitted. <br />H. General Comments., Comment on any aspeet of the RFQ, pre-development relationship, <br />or project as proposed at this point. <br />Insurance Cayera~e. Provide proof of professional liability insurance of at least <br />$1,000,000 and other requirements as described in Exhibit 1. <br />VII. SELECTION CRITERIA <br />A City committee will review submittals based on the following criteria: <br />A. Quality of development team and its experience; <br />B. Financial ability'to fund development; <br />C. Demonstrated success financing and developing waterfront projects; <br />D. Demonstrated ability working on a successful public-private development project <br />involving new construction; <br />E. Experience working with communities on highly political development projects; <br />F. Willingness to participate in the funding of technical studies; <br />G. Vision Statement; <br />H.
