three Cities agree on the amount of funds each is requesting from LATIP then it will be <br />easier to present to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) how the funds <br />should be distributed. <br />5. Discussion Regarding the Senior Center <br />Ken Joseph gave a quick PowerPoint presentation regarding the progress of the Senior <br />Center. He explained the project is being done in two phases. The first phase will <br />construct East 14th street improvements, traffic signal, large parking lot and monument <br />sign. The second phase will be the building and a smaller side parking lot. Mayor Santos <br />commented that it looks as though it will be completed in late 2009-2010. <br />6. Project Updates <br />Ken quickly went down the list of current projects. <br />^ Bancroft Sports Field <br />^ Street Rehabilitation <br />^ Doolittle Drive Improvements <br />^ Re-Roofing of the Marina Community Center and Public Safety <br />Building <br />A discussion ensued regarding the dedication of the Sports Field. The dedication is <br />scheduled for October S, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. Mayor Santos also requested a list of the <br />streets that will be rehabilitated and when the streets will be closed for the work.
