Excerpts from the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes January 25, 2007
Agenda No. 07-02 Page 5 of S
Secretary Pollart said that she would pass the comments on to the Transportation
Department, and would have an engineer get in touch with Ms. Collins.
Ms. Leung noted that perhaps speed bumps would reduce the speeding. She also pointed
out that the previously approved apartment building for the site would have included
more vehicles than the current proposal.
Chair Perras wondered if a traffic study might be recommended.
Secretary Pollart said she couldn't make any promises about traffic studies, but
reiterated that comments would go to the Engineering Department, which is the proper
department to respond. She also said that this project does not depend on what might
happen in terms of signage, speed bumps or other such changes.
END OF WORK SESSION DISCUSSION
