H. The property shall be secured during construction with a six (6) foot high <br />chain link fence and any other security measures in accordance with <br />recommendation of the San Leandro Police Department. <br />IX. POLICE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. The applicant shall submit typical details and specifications for the <br />security of the new residences; details subject to the review and approval <br />of the City of San Leandro Police Department and the Community <br />Development Director. Said details and specifications shall include, but <br />are not limited to, dead bolt locks, front -door door viewers, sliding glass <br />door and window locking and anti forced entry devices. <br />B. All building addresses shall be placed in such a position as to be plainly <br />visible and legible from the street. Said numbers shall contrast with their <br />background and be visible at night. Details including number size and <br />location shall be submitted for the review and approval of the City of San <br />Leandro Police Department, Fire Marshal and the Community <br />Development Director, prior to issuance of building permits. Street names <br />shall be approved by the City of San Leandro Police Department, Fire <br />Marshal and the Community Development Director. Specific property <br />addresses will be assigned by the Building and Safety Services Division of <br />the Development Services Department. <br />X. FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Prior to issuance of Certificate of Occupancy, the project shall comply <br />with all the applicable Building and Fire Codes. Prior to issuance of <br />building permits, final site plans and building plans shall be submitted to <br />the City Building and Safety Services Division and Fire Department for <br />review and approval by the Building Division and the Fire Department. <br />B. The two rear structures (north side) shall have fire sprinklers installed and <br />operational prior to Certificate of Occupancy. <br />C. Prior to start of combustible construction or storage on site, fire hydrants <br />are required in accordance with California Fire Codes Appendices IIIA <br />and I1IB. Additional fire hydrants may be required to meet this <br />requirement. <br />D. Prior to start of combustible construction or storage on the site, a water <br />supply with the minimum fire protection flow of 1000 gallons per minute <br />(gpm) at 20 pounds per square inch (psi) shall be required at the site to the <br />satisfaction of the Fire Marshall. <br />PLN2007-00050 Page 10 of 12 <br />Recommended Conditions of Approval October 11, 2007 <br />
