CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Mayor Santos led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: Member Grant <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br />A. San Leandro Friendship City Delegation China Trip. <br />Arlene Lum and Steven Leung, members of the Friendship Gity delegation, gave a <br />PowerPoint presentation describing the trip to San Leandro's Friendship City, <br />Yangchun, and four other cities in the Guandong Province of China. Ms. Lum's portion <br />of the presentation provided background on the formation of the Friendship City <br />relationship and depicted the formal meetings, banquets, sightseeing and cultural <br />activities and other highlights of the trip.
