IIL FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />A. The Fire Department reviewed the project under the purview of the building permit <br />process, Case #BLD2006-00319. The building permit shall not be issued until all <br />Fire Department requirements, specifically outlined on a Plan Review Comments <br />related to the above case and submitted to the applicant on March 2, 2006, are <br />adequately addressed. <br />B. Fire extinguishers shall be visible and unobstructed at all times. Signage shall be <br />provided to indicate fire extinguisher locations. The final number and location of <br />extinguishers shall be as indicated by the fire inspector. <br />C. Fire Extinguishers shall be inspected monthly and serviced by a licensed concern <br />annually. <br />D. Addresses shall be provided near the main entrance of each tenant space and shall <br />not be less than 4-inches in height with a '/z-inch stroke. Addresses shall be high <br />enough on the building to be clearly visible from the driveway, street or parking area <br />it faces even when vehicles are parked in front of the tenant space. <br />E. Addressing shall be illuminated or in an illuminated area, and the address characters <br />shall be contrasting to their background. If the address is placed on glass, the <br />numbers shall be on the exterior of the glass with a contrasting background behind <br />the numbers. - <br />IV. LANDSCAPING & FENCING <br />A. Landscaping shall comply with Exhibit F -Planting plan, with the following <br />modification: <br />1. All new trees shall be a minimum 24" box, not 15 gallon as indicated on Sheet <br />L-1. <br />B. All required landscaping shall be installed to the satisfaction of the Community <br />Development Department prior to final inspection. <br />C. The chain existing chain link fencing adjacent to the public right-of--way on both <br />the Aladdin Avenue and Alvarado Street frontages shall be removed. Any <br />proposed new fencing along the Aladdin Avenue and/or Alvarado Street frontages <br />shall be located outside of the 10-foot minimum required front and street side yard <br />and shall, per the requirements of Zoning Code Section 4-1682 B.2, ". be <br />constructed of either: a) tubular steel, or of equally high quality "visually <br />Conditions of Approval May 17, 2006 <br />PLN2006-00017 Page 2 of 6 <br />
