submitted to the City Engineer, for review and approval, prior to approval of the <br />building permit. <br />P. Prior to any grading operations, Applicant shall submit all information including a <br />Grading Plan accompanied by Soils Engineering and Engineering Geology <br />Reports, in accordance with requirements of the City of San Leandro Municipal <br />Code Title VII, Chapter 12 and obtain a grading permit. <br />Q. During construction the following high standards for sanitation are required: <br />Garbage cans, construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a <br />minimum weekly basis. All food related trash items such as wrappers, cans, bottles, <br />and food scraps shall be disposed of in closed containers only and shall be regularly <br />removed from the site. Inspections, conducted as part of the regular construction <br />compliance, will be conducted to ensure compliance of the Applicant and <br />contractors with this requirement. <br />R. The Applicant shall provide a covered trash enclosure. Wash water shall filter <br />through lawn areas prior to entering the storm drain system. <br />VII. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Exterior lighting shall be high pressure sodium or other energy conserving lighting <br />and shall be designed and located so as to not interfere with traffic on adjacent <br />streets and so as not to shine on adjacent properties. <br />B. The exterior color scheme shall comply with Exhibit H -Color Scheme. Any <br />proposed changes to the exterior building colors shall be submitted for review and <br />approval by the Community Development Director. <br />C. Trucks using the loading dock along the Alvarado Street frontage for Unit 25 shall <br />be limited to 42-feet in length and shall, at no time, be parked so that any portion of <br />the truck encroaches over the public sidewalk or street. The truck size prohibition <br />shall be included in the lease agreement for Unit 25. <br />D. Construction activity shall not create dust, noise, or safety hazards for adjacent <br />properties. Dirt and mud shall not be tracked onto Alvarado Street or Aladdin <br />Avenue, from the project site. <br />E. No temporary or unauthorized signs including but not limited to banners, balloons, <br />streamers and pennants shall be placed on the property, unless approved by the City <br />under a Special Event Permit. <br />F. The approvals granted by the City as a result of this application, as well as the <br />Conditions of Approval, shall be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of <br />Alameda County. <br />Conditions of Approval May l7, 2006 <br />PLN2006-00017 Page 5 of 6 <br />
