Jermanis E ~ive Director RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO APPROVING THE MID-TERM REVIEW OF THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY 2004-2009 IMPLEMENTATION PLAN SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Redevelopment Agency (Agency) conduct a public hearing for the Mid-Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan (Mid-Term Review) as required by State Law. The Mid-Term Review includes progress to date on the objectives of the Redevelopment Plan and the programs identified in the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan (Implementation Plan), and an update on program funding and expenditures. Staff further recommends adoption of the resolution approving the Mid-Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan. BACKGROUND In accordance with Section 33490 of the Health and Safety Code of the California Community Redevelopment Law (CCRL), the Agency prepared and adopted the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan in 2004. The purpose of the Implementation Plan was to identify specific goals, programs and projects, and estimate tax increment funding and expenditures for the City's tluee Redevelopment Project Areas -the Plaza Redevelopment Project Area, the Alameda County -City of San Leandro (Joint) Redevelopment Project Area, and the West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard (WSL/MacArthur) Redevelopment Project Area.
