Jermanis <br />E ~ive Director <br />RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />APPROVING THE MID-TERM REVIEW OF THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY 2004-2009 IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Redevelopment Agency (Agency) conduct a public hearing for the <br />Mid-Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan <br />(Mid-Term Review) as required by State Law. The Mid-Term Review includes progress to date <br />on the objectives of the Redevelopment Plan and the programs identified in the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan (Implementation Plan), and an update <br />on program funding and expenditures. Staff further recommends adoption of the resolution <br />approving the Mid-Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 <br />Implementation Plan. <br />BACKGROUND <br />In accordance with Section 33490 of the Health and Safety Code of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law (CCRL), the Agency prepared and adopted the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan in 2004. The purpose of the <br />Implementation Plan was to identify specific goals, programs and projects, and estimate tax <br />increment funding and expenditures for the City's tluee Redevelopment Project Areas -the <br />Plaza Redevelopment Project Area, the Alameda County -City of San Leandro (Joint) <br />Redevelopment Project Area, and the West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard <br />(WSL/MacArthur) Redevelopment Project Area. <br />
