IN THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />MINUTE ORDER N0.2008-001 (3075/3076) <br />SUBJECT: Matter of Three Amendments to the San Leandro Zoning Code Including: <br />1) Fence Heights in the RS-VP District (Bay-O-Vista). This Includes <br />Article 16, Section 4-1682 Related to Fences, Walls and Hedges to <br />Preserve Views in the RS-VP District; 2) Limited Online Sales of Used <br />Vehicles in the CC, CS, IL, IG and IP Districts. This Includes Article 3, <br />Section 1-304, Article 6, Sections 2-606 and 2-612, and Article 7, Sections <br />2-704, 2-706 and 2-708 to Allow for Limited Online Sales of Used <br />Vehicles in the CC, CS, IL, IG and IP Districts; and 3) Transit-Oriented <br />Development Related Density and Development Standards. This <br />Includes Article 2, Section 1-204 to Add New DA-1 to DA-6 Base <br />Districts; Article 6, Sections 2-636, 2-638, 2-640, 2-642, 2-644 and 2-646 <br />to Add Minimum Density Requirements to DA-1 to DA-6; Article 6, <br />Sections 2-636, 2-638, 2-640 and 2-642 Related to Single-Family and <br />Two-Family Residential; Article 16, Sections 4-1662, 4-1666, 4-1672 and <br />4-1674 to Add DA-1 to DA-6 Base Districts; Article 17, Section 4-1714 <br />Related to Bicycle Parking; and Article 18, Section 4-1806 Related to <br />Regulations for On-Premise Signs. <br />MEETING DATE: January 7, 2008 <br />ACTION: The City Council found that the proposed ordinances for the adoption <br />of the San Leandro Zoning Code amendment related to various use <br />regulations and development standards changing the fences, walls and <br />hedges standards, allowing limited online auto sales and changes <br />prompted by the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Strategy are <br />exempt from environmental review under the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3). <br />VOTE: M/S/C Gregory and Grant.
