MINUTES Page 2 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-January 7, 2008 <br />REGULAR MEETING 7:00 PM-City Council Chambers <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Alameda County Fire Chief Sheldon Gilbert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Quarter, Yana Taran, Human Resources Analyst. <br />Yana Taran was present to receive her award. <br />B. Proclamation Declaring January 2008 as National Blood Donor Month in San Leandro. <br />Councilmember Gregory, also representing American Red Cross Blood Services, <br />accepted the National Blood Donor Month proclamation presented by Mayor Santos. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br />A. Matter of Three Amendments to the San Leandro Zoning Code Including: 1) Fence <br />Heights in the RS-VP District (Bay-O-Vista). This Includes Article 16, Section 4- <br />1682 Related to Fences, Walls and Hedges to Preserve Views in the RS-VP District; 2) <br />Limited Online Sales of Used Vehicles in the CC, CS, IL, IG and IP Districts. <br />This Includes Article 3, Section 1-304, Article 6, Sections 2-606 and 2-612, and Article <br />7, Sections 2-704, 2-706 and 2-708 to Allow for Limited Online Sales of Used Vehicles <br />in the CC, CS, IL, IG and IP Districts; and 3) Transit-Oriented Development <br />Related Density and Development Standards.
