Regular Meeting 14600 Catalina Street <br />PLN2007.00013 February 19, 2008 <br />Item 1: Roll Call <br />Present: Members Daly, Gilcrest, Marr, Shields, Sidari, Vice Chair Pearson, <br />Chair Goldt <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: Larry Ornellas, Civic Center Meeting Room Coordinator; Kathleen <br />Livermore, Interim Planning Manager; Debbie Pollart, Facilities and <br />Open Space Manager; Reh-Lin Chen, Senior Transportation <br />Engineer; Stephanie Stuart, Assistant City Attorney; Alice Malotte, <br />Recording Secretary; Elmer Penaranda, Secretary <br />IItem 2: Public Comments <br />None <br />Item 3: Minutes <br />(Board Minutes from Regular Meeting of November 15, 2007) <br />Motion to approve the Minutes of November 15, 2007 <br />(Shields/Sidari; 7 Ayes, 0 Noes) <br />Item 4: Correspondence and Oral Communications <br />Interim Planning Manager Livermore stated that two letters from Betty Bailey, <br />President of Marina Faire Homeowners Association, and Kathy Sanchez, Marina Gardens <br />Homeowners Association, were included in the Boards' packets. These letters had been <br />presented during previous applications by this applicant. Per a Board Member's request, <br />copies of past City Council and Planning Commission meeting minutes had been <br />provided to the Board in their packets. <br />Secretary Penaranda stated that material had also been received from Peter MacDonald. <br />Chair Goldt added that she had received an email from Mr. MacDonald's office. The <br />rest of the Board indicated that they, too, had received the email. <br />Member Marr stated that, not only had she received an email, but Mr. MacDonald's <br />office staff called her at her place of business asking for her address, then sent a Federal <br />Express package to her at her office. For the record, she had spoken to Mr. MacDonald <br />concerning the fact that she preferred to keep her personal and business lives separate. <br />
