Laboratory Testing -The Consultant will identify representative locations within the structures
for which testing of the concrete will be performed. The testing will focus on the interior
surfaces of the structures that have been exposed to the waste water. Only the sedimentation
basins will be available for complete access. The Consultant will remove six (6) concrete
samples from various locations within this structure for petrographic and chemical testing. For
the structures that can be partially drained, the Consultant will take one (1) or two (2) core
samples from representative locations of the structure. The holes created by the core sampling
will be filled immediately with arapid-set, nonshrink cementious material so the structures can
be brought back into service.
Reporting -Following visual observations and laboratory testing, the Consultant will prepare a
written report describing the findings from our investigation. The report will discuss the existing
condition of each of the structures, estimate the remaining useful life of the structures in the
current condition, identify portions of the structures for which short term repairs will be needed
to extend the service life, and recommend long term repair options and maintenance needed to
extend the service life.
Project Deliverables: Draft Report -Provide six (6) hard copies of your Report and one (1) copy
of the report on CD in .pdf format. Final Report -Provide six (6) hard copies of your Report and
one (1) copy of the report on CD in .pdf format.
T'ac{t Ctaff I avetl Fctirr~atpd Hn~irs Rata Estimated Fee
Review drawin s Associate Princi al 2 $185.00 $370.00
Associate 2 $145.00 $290.00
$660.00
Visual Observation Associate Princi al 40 $185.00 $7,400.00
Associate 80 $145.00 $11,600.00
$19,000.00
Core Sample Associate 8 $145.00 $1,160.00
$1,160.00
Laborato Testin Associate Princi al 24 $185.00 $4,440.00
Senior Associate 24 $160.00 $3,840.00
Technician 40 $70.00 $2,800.00
$11,080.00
Draft Re ort Associate Princi al 12 $185.00 $2,220.00
Associate 8 $145.00 $1,160.00
Senior Specialist 8 $105.00 $840.00
$4,220.00
Final Re ort Associate Princi al 4 $185.00 $740.00
Associate 2 $145.00 $290.00
Senior Specialist 2 $105.00 $210.00
$1,240.00

Total $37,360.00
Reimbursable Expenses:
Reimbursable expenses shall included concrete coring and patching, travel, shipping, and
equipment usage, not to exceed $4,370.00.
WPCP Concrete Forensic Analysis January 8, 2008
07-593-52-239 Page 16 of 18
